Samsung Podcasts is the podcast section of the Samsung Free app and is available on Galaxy S21, S20, Note 20, S10, and Note 10 devices. This article will guide you through the steps for submitting your Simplecast RSS feed to the Samsung Podcasts Partner Portal.

The Overview of Steps:

  1. Create a new Samsung account

  2. Enter Organization Code (if you received an invite) or create your own Organization Name

  3. Sign in to the Samsung Podcasts Partner Portal

  4. Click on 'Add Podcasts'

  5. Enter your Simplecast RSS Feed in the RSS Feed URL field

  6. Review and agree to Terms, click Next, and confirm by clicking 'Create Podcast'

  7. Once your show has been approved, it will appear in the Samsung Podcasts Partner Portal dashboard with a status of 'Published'

Note: If you have multiple shows, there is an option to submit by uploading a .CSV file


How To Set Up Your Samsung Account and Organization

If you already have a Samsung account, begin by clicking the SIGN IN button in the Samsung Podcast Partner Portal. (You can skip to the How To Submit Show To Samsung Podcasts section below.)

Create Samsung Account:
If you do not have a Samsung account, begin by clicking the CREATE ONE HERE link below the SIGN IN button.

Terms & Conditions
Reviewed the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service, and Samsung Privacy Policy, click on the AGREE button to proceed with creating your Samsung account.

Fill Out Form

Complete the form with your preferred login credentials and the personal information you would like to have attached to your Samsung account, then click NEXT.

Verification Email:

You will be prompted to verify your account by entering a verification code which you'll receive at the email address attached to your account. When the email arrives, COPY the PIN code included.

PASTE or TYPE that number in the VERIFICATION CODE field in the prompt on the Samsung Podcast Partner Portal, then click NEXT.

Final Stage

Now that your account is set up, click the DONE button to begin the podcast submission process.

Two-Step Authentication:
When prompted to set up two-step verification, Samsung recommends clicking the NOT NOW button until this feature is functioning properly on their end.

Organizations from Samsung

Organizations are set up by the main account holder and exist to allow multiple people to access the same show or shows within the Samsung Podcast Partner Portal.

If you received an invitation to join an existing organization, enter the ORGANIZATION CODE on this screen, review and agree to the Samsung Terms of Service, then click SUBMIT.

📌 If you have not received an Organization Code, you can click the link at the bottom of the page to CREATE AN ORGANIZATION.

To create your Organization, add your Organization Name, Country, Organization Admin Name, and the Admin Email Address. Then review and agree to the Samsung Terms of Service, and click SUBMIT.


How To Submit Show To Samsung Podcasts (step-by-step)

Now that your Samsung account and organization are set up, you're ready to submit your Simplecast RSS feed(s) for inclusion on Samsung Podcasts. You can begin by clicking either of the ADD PODCASTS buttons pictured below.

📌 If you need to submit multiple feeds simultaneously, you can click the link to DOWNLOAD THE CSV TEMPLATE instead.

Locate Your Simplecast RSS Feed from Show Distribution Settings

Copy your RSS feed URL from the SHOW DISTRIBUTION page of your Simplecast dashboard. To access that page:

  • Click on the GEAR ICON in the upper lefthand corner dropdown menu

  • Click on SHOW DISTRIBUTION in the lefthand side menu

  • Click the COPY button as in the image below.

Paste RSS Feed in Samsung Podcast Portal

  • Paste your Simplecast RSS feed URL in the space provided

  • Choose a category for your show from the dropdown menu

  • Review and agree to the Terms

  • Then click NEXT

Confirm your submission by clicking on the CREATE PODCAST button.

Upload Multiple RSS Feeds via CSV File

📌 If you wish to submit multiple feeds simultaneously, use the CSV template provided, and click the UPLOAD CSV tab at the top. Next, click the UPLOAD button and locate the CSV file on your hard drive, and click NEXT.

Dashboard & Publishing Status

Once your show has been approved, it will appear in the Samsung Podcasts Partner Portal dashboard. This process typically only takes a few minutes. The shows publish status will be visible in the STATUS column

Edit Information

By clicking on the EDIT button next to your podcast, you can modify your RSS feed URL, re-index your feed, modify the category in which your show appears, and adjust the show's visibility within the app.
