Q: What is an RSS feed, and why do I need one for my podcast?
Your show's RSS feed is a text document that contains all of the information about your podcast.
Every podcast has a unique RSS feed and it is the backbone of your podcast. It is how your listeners subscribe to your show and is what you use to submit your podcast to Apple and the other podcast directories and apps.
RSS feed URLs look like any hyperlink, but if you click it, you will see code similar to a website. The code can be read and used by podcast directories and apps like Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, and many others.
